In the shoulder season shorter rentals (minimum 3 days stay) are considered. The shoulder season runs from May 1 to June 26th, and August 28th to the end of September. A cleaning fee of $220 will be added to any rental less than one week. Shoulder season rate is 25% off the summer rate and is prorated for the length of stay.

There are no dangerous animals on Hornby. Seeing a mosquito on the property is rare. This location usually receives a constant ocean breeze. The front lawn always has a shady spot. Sunrises on Clam Shell Beach park can be spectacular.
