2026 Rental Rate:
- Summer Season $1950 per week plus taxes
- Shoulder Season runs from May 1st to last week of June and from last week of August to end of September. The rate is 25% off the summer rate, which is prorated for the length of stay (minimum 3 days) plus taxes. A cleaning fee of $165 will also be added for any rental which is less than seven days.
- Taxes are not included in the price above and will be added when the quote is sent to the guest for review and approval prior to booking.
Internet: This home has Wi-Fi.
Pets: This home does not permit pets.
Occupancy: Maximum 5 guests including children.
Turnover Day and Length of Stay: In summer season, this home is a Sunday turnover and books for a minimum of 7 days. In shoulder season turnover days are flexible and the minimum length of stay is 3 days.
Bed Configuration: There is one bedroom on the main floor with a queen size bed. Upstairs in the loft there are two beds. One single bed and one double bed.
Location: Pebbles Loft is located on Brigantine Road and is located an easy .4 km stroll to Grassy Point and Galleon Beach. This area of Hornby is centrally located to the Community Hall, the outdoor market, playground, a short drive to the Co-op, Tribune Beach and mountain trails. This makes for a great family vacation spot.
House Description: Pebbles Loft is a one bedroom cottage with a loft accessed by a good set of stairs. The ground floor there is an open living, dining and kitchen area with a sliding glass door to the patio outside. This level also include the bedroom and the full bathroom which includes a toilet, sink and bathtub with shower.
The yard is level and great for children to play. The back patio has a picnic table and BBQ available for use.
Water: Water to the home is provided by rainwater catchment and collected in a cistern. Therefore, extreme water conservation is necessary. The water is good for cooking, washing dishes, bathing etc. For drinking you will be supplied with five gallons of water. The water container can be refilled from the Co-op Gas Bar or Ford’s Cove dispenser (for a small charge).
Linens: In line with the water conservation efforts on the island, the guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, and dishcloths. Comforters and pillows are provided.
Garbage and Recycling: As part of the Hornby Island experience you will be required to visit the Hornby Island Recycling Centre and dispose of your own garbage and recycling before the end of your stay. Refundable bottles and cans can be donated to the Hornby Island Preschool which uses the funds to support their programs.

We loved it
My wife, two kids and I stayed at Pebbles Loft for a week in early August. It is a wonderful cottage-style home with a spacious loft on the second floor, a nice eat-in kitchen and living room, and space outside to hang out, read, or do yoga. Great area as well - a short walk to Grassy Narrows for sunsets or swimming and easy bike or car ride to the other area beaches, like Big Tribune and Sandpiper, plus the nearby hikes and stores. Ray is an amazing resource as well for any home needs as well as area advice. We loved it and would come back. Highly recommended. Great memories.
Great
Cute cabin with a well equipped kitchen. Nice outdoor patio area. Good location. Only negative comment would be living room sofas are a little tired, pieces of fabric falling off.
Great Cabin
My family and I loved the cabin. We loved walking/biking the short distance to the beach in the mornings and evenings to enjoy the scenery. The cabin itself was clean and well kept. Easy to access and great communication with the property managers made our vacation wonderful!

Wonderful Experience
We had an amazing family vacation at Pebbles Loft and look forward to staying again. Our two girls had so much fun playing in the yard and biking to the beach. The house is beautiful inside and out, we loved it all! Thank you for the wonderful memories, we hope to spend many more summers here.

We absolutely love this house on Hornby - we have stayed here for a number of years and have made so many nice memories here. The living area inside is spacious and great for kids and the lawn outside is perfect for slow mornings sitting having a coffee. The architecture of its exterior is beautiful. We truly can't recommend this place enough.
