2026 Rental Rate:

• Summer Season $1800 per week plus taxes
• Shoulder Season runs from May 1^st to last week of June and from last week of August to end of September. The rate is 25% off the summer rate, which is prorated for the length of stay (minimum 3 days) plus taxes. A cleaning fee of $165 will also be added for any rental which is less than seven days.
• Taxes are not included in the price above and will be added when the quote is sent to the guest for review and approval prior to booking.

Internet: This home has Wi-Fi.

Pets: A small pet is permitted with prior approval by Wind and Waves. A $125 pet fee per week will be required.

Occupancy: Maximum 6 guests including children.

Turnover Day and Length of Stay: In summer season, this home is a Friday turnover and books for a minimum of 7 days. In shoulder season turnover days are flexible and the minimum length of stay is 3 days.

Bed Configuration: There are two bedrooms which are located upstairs and are accessed by a steep staircase; therefore, this home is not suitable for very small children. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has a queen bed and two single beds. There is also a double futon located in the living room on the main floor.

Location: Cozy A is situated near the Sandpiper area of Hornby Island and is within 2.5 km of Tribune Bay, the Co-op and the Ringside Market. Across the road is access to Mount Geoffrey Park which has awesome mountain trails which are perfect for mountain biking, hiking or just for a gentle stroll. Sandpiper Beach and Ford’s Cove are also within a short drive or bike ride.

House Description: This Cozy A-frame is located on a large private ½ acre yard that has lots of space for a family to enjoy their vacation. This beautiful two bedroom home comes with two ground level decks, one at each end of the home. On the main floor there is a full bathroom and an open living room, kitchen, and dining area.

Water: The water is supplied by a shallow well and cistern, therefore extreme water conservation is necessary. The water is good for cooking, washing dishes, bathing etc. For drinking you will be supplied with five gallons of water. The water container can be refilled from the Co-op Gas Bar or Ford’s Cove dispenser (for a small charge).

Linens: In line with the water conservation efforts on the island, the guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, and dishcloths. Comforters and pillows are provided.

Garbage and Recycling: As part of the Hornby Island experience you will be required to visit the Hornby Island Recycling Centre and dispose of your own garbage and recycling before the end of your stay. Refundable bottles and cans can be donated to the Hornby Island Preschool which uses the funds to support their programs.
